The story of how a man ran a SP bookmaking business from a local barber shop will feature in Coonamble's "night of nights" when Hello, Coonamble! hits the stage at the Plaza Theatre on 22-24 August.
Twenty locals including Kevin 'Sooty' Welsh, Anne Cullen, Peter 'Naka' Kennedy and Jillian Kelly will tell three-minute stories about the shire, from bull riding and mouse plagues to memories of favourite dishes at the former Tong Fong restaurant.
