Saturday 19 July saw the Rams make the trek out to Davidson Oval in Bourke for round 9 of the Ahrens Cup, and also Bre/Bourke’s Sponsors Day.
After falling short to the Flamin Galahs the week prior, both Coonamble sides were looking forward to the chance to prove themselves.
Kicking off to the Bourke Ewes outfit at 1:30pm, Coonamble made quick work of putting points on the board with an early try to Gemma ‘the flash’ Fitzgerald.
The try went unconverted, but put the Rams girls on the front foot . . .
