A Gulargambone resident has been left angry after a morning break-in on 12 August he says cost him over $3000 cash.
Wayne Regan left for his job as a council road worker at around 5:30am on the Tuesday.
His niece, who also lives at the property, came by before 10:30am and noticed the front door was open.
Wayne said that plates had been taken from cupboards and smashed on the kitchen floor, and that a laptop had also been stolen.
