She's an accredited netball umpire who has overseen games at the state level and, of all places, Jasia Sluiter says umpiring in Coonamble is like a breath of fresh air.
In the early 2000s, Coonamble Netball Association executives invited the Dubbo resident to umpire a game for their mixed netball tournament.
Over 20 years later, Jasia still travels for the final rounds of the twice-a-year competition.
