As some of our children are close to starting Primary school, the kangaroo room have been working on our school readiness skills.
We work on things like name recognition, hand strength and pencil grip, gross and fine motor skills and our social skills.
The children build these skills through activities that involve reading books, writing their names, crafts and outdoor play with their peers.
Our Kangaroos have been very busy practicing for some of the things that they will be doing at big school next year!
