Aged care patients will receive better care with new equipment secured via a $20,000 donation to Koonambil.
The facility received two digital vitals monitors and a patient lifting machine about a month ago.
Temporary CEO Paul Rosenquist said that the local donors had a family member at Koonambil, who has passed, and wanted to give back.
They asked to remain anonymous.
The new monitors read patients’ pulse, blood pressure and temperature, and Mr Rosenquist said they are more will provide better accuracy.
