Locals travelling for cancer treatment will have an extra leg up with $500 in fuel vouchers donated by local businesses.
Mobil Service Stations and RAMS Motel owner Latha Pothu got in touch with the Coonamble Cancer Survival Fund (CCSF) to make the donation.
"We've been supported by the locals a lot, so we just would like to give it back," said Latha, who runs the two businesses with husband Ram Chetty.
"Whenever someone asks us looking for donations, we always come forward.
"We are here to support locals."
