A Coonamble family's van was stolen and torched last week after their home was broken into the day before.
A 2011 Hyundai Imax was stolen from their driveway on Caswell Street on the night of Tuesday 9 September while the family was asleep.
The family reported the theft when they discovered it was missing at around 8am the next morning.
The van was located on the Castlereagh Highway, one kilometre north of the Carinda Road turnoff, completely destroyed by fire.
