Diehard music fans came from throughout Australia to Carinda for a weekend of red shoes and wigs as the town celebrated their annual David Bowie tribute festival.
Around 300 festival-goers passed through the gates at the local sportsground for Let's Dance Carinda, venturing from as far as Melbourne and Hobart.
They heard a mostly fresh lineup play Bowie classics from midday into the evening on Saturday 4 October.
In the crowd was Kiama's Alan Waistell, who fashioned a man-sized lightning bolt out of wood and screws.
