Locals and visitors rolled into sheep and cropping property Gilgooma, about 30 kilometres northeast of Coonamble, on Saturday 11 October for a chance to mingle over a long, leisurely lunch.
An estimated 250 adults and children turned out for an afternoon Paddock Picnic which this year focused on celebrating the work of the Coonamble Cancer Survival Fund (CCSF).
They heard from local woman Allison Davis, who told of the support she received after she was diagnosed with breast cancer on her wedding anniversary in March 2024.
"Worst anniversary present ever," she said.
