Gulargambone has a new police officer in town.
Acting Inspector Tony Bostock with the Orana Mid-Western Police District confirmed that Constable Riley Fagan began duties at the local station from this week.
Acting Inspector Bostock said Constable Fagan has experience in regional policing across various areas in the state.
The appointment follows the transfer of Sergeant Jeff Morgan from Gulargambone to Maitland earlier in 2025, leaving the towns two policing positions vacant.
