After months of trucking in tonnes of product from out of town, construction companies, farmers and handymen around Coonamble are excited to hear the Mt Magometon Quarry re-opened on Tuesday 14 October.
The council-owned quarry is now open for sales after its temporary closure in May this year when a set of improvement notices were issued by the Regulator.
During the suspension of the Quarry, local businesses who depend on Mt Magometon's product had to import material from outside of the district.
