Mayors from Walgett, Bourke, Coonamble and Brewarrina Shires will sit down with the NSW Premier Chris Minns on Tuesday 28 October to talk youth crime in the regions, after Barwon MP requested his urgent attention to repeated incidents in western plains communities.
Confirmation of the meeting follows outcry in Walgett after the local council cut opening hours at their town’s pool due to an alleged assault on a lifeguard.
