In 2017, Coonamble-raised Cherie Forgione graduated as one of the first cohorts taking up a new course aimed at building leaders in Aboriginal healthcare.
She’s one of over 95 graduates to the Diploma of Practice Management now in senior leadership positions since the program began ten years ago.
Mrs Forgione is now an Executive Officer at CTG Aboriginal Health.
Cherie said the program, run between TAFE NSW and Joint Colleges Training Services (JCTS), gave her “the confidence to step into leadership roles.”
