A local knitting group has stitched warmth, care and compassion into every loop, donating an impressive 96 handmade rugs to charities across the region, including one supporting people in Coonamble.
Members of the Coonabarabran Knitting Group meet once a week, coming together not only for companionship but with a shared purpose of knitting and assembling colourful squares that are later joined to form the donated rugs.
