Coonamble country star Max Jackson is a back-to-back Golden Guitar winner after claiming Female Artist of the Year at Australia’s peak country music awards.
Max faced the likes of household name Casey Chambers in a pool of five artist to take the honour for a second year in a row at Tamworth on Saturday 24 January.
In her acceptance speech, she dedicated the award to her first singing teacher in Coonamable, Jessie Tym, who passed in December 2024.
