After more than three years in the making, the call to speak up against domestic violence has been planted firmly in a paddock along the Coonamble's southern approach.
The sign was installed during the summer holiday period on a private property roughly 3.5 kilometres from Coonamble Post Office, facing south on the Castlereagh Highway.
The design was created in 2022 through a unique collaboration between Year 9 students from Coonamble High School, members of the Coonamble Domestic Violence Collective and artists Jamie Lea Trindall and Maddi Ward from Outback Arts.
