Volunteering and belonging were at the heart of Baradine’s Australia Day ambassador’s message.
Despite the temperature soaring into the mid-forties, almost one hundred community members rolled up for the morning tea and lunch held at the Baradine Bowling Club on Monday, 26 January hosted by the Baradine Hospital Auxiliary and the Baradine & District Progress Association.
The local celebrations were given added meaning this year with a heartfelt keynote address delivered by the Australia Day ambassador to the northern end of the Warrumbungle Shire, Amar Singh, who spoke passionately about the power . . .
