The latest sale of the district’s prime cattle has fallen foul of the Coonamble township’s ongoing water supply issues.
At the request of Coonamble Shire Council, the Coonamble Associated Agents cancelled the sale scheduled for Wednesday 11 February so as not to place any undue pressure on the water reticulation system.
“We cracked it off because of the town’s water problems and with the forecast rain,” said Halcoft & Bennett’s David Thompson.
