June 2026 brought a classic start to winter for Coonamble, with crisp mornings, mild afternoons and generally dry conditions across the district.
Temperatures remained close to the region's long-term averages, with daytime maximums mostly ranging between 15°C and 20°C and overnight temperatures regularly dropping into the low single digits.
Bureau of Meteorology observations from Coonamble Airport show an average minimum temperature of 8.8°C and an average maximum of 18.9°C during the first three weeks of the month.
