Green fails to ease spring drought concerns

Welcome winter rain has greened paddocks across the Plains but forecasts suggest the season remains far from secure, with about 55 per cent of NSW expected to be in a drought category by the end of August.

The NSW Seasonal Drought Outlook predicts drought conditions will persist across much of the state, despite improvements in some areas.
