From tackling invasive Indian myna birds and protecting native wildlife to improving soil health and bringing volunteers together, the Coonamble-Castlereagh Landcare Group says Landcare Week is about celebrating the many ways local people are caring for the environment every day.
Landcare Week, to be held from 3 to 9 August, recognises the volunteers, landholders and community groups working to protect Australia’s land, water, soils, plants and animals.
