Those who served in Australia’s armed forces were remembered in Baradine last Saturday when community gathered to commemorate the service and sacrifice of a generation who helped bring the Second World War to an end.
Members of the Baradine RSL Sub-branch, the RSL Ladies Auxiliary, school representatives and community gathered at the town’s memorial wall on Saturday, August 15, to observe Victory in the Pacific (VP) Day.
