Sunday 26 October was the annual Gerry’s Golf Day, which is a two person Ambrose competition started by Gerry Lane and continued to be supported by his widow Margaret Lane.
Despite harvesting kicking off in a big way, there was still 15 teams sign up to competed with $1500 cash up for grabs for the winners.
With that kind of money on offer there was lots of strong teams battling it out for both the scratch and handicap categories.
Beau Ewers and Matt Lane were looking to take home the major prize . . .
