The Coonamble Region Art Trail is finally beginning to move.
Back in 2023, the then Nationals and Liberal state Government announced a $235,000 grant from the Stronger Country Communities Fund for Coonamble Shire Council to develop new artwork in the region.
The original plan included four new sculptural works and two painted works across the shire’s three communities.
Sculptural works included two Galah sculptures in Gulargambone, on the Northern entrance and one on the Southern entrance, a Tin Town Contemplation Circle near the Castlereagh River in Coonamble with Kamilaroi and Wailwan . . .
