The Coonabarabran Unicorns proved too good for the Coonamble Bears on Saturday 21 June when they faced off in Coonababran.
It was a great game for spectators, with some serious grit shown by both sides, however the Unicorns managed to put in that little extra, converting a 14 - nil lead at half time into a 36 - 10 win.
Five of Coonabarabran’s seven tries were scored by their players numbered one to five, which indicates their willingness to spread the ball in attack.
Coonamble had some great runs but were unable to convert . . .
