The Coonamble Bears travelled to Narromine last Saturday to meet the Jets on their home turf.
In the early exchanges of the game, the Bears looked promising, and after twenty minutes had managed to hold on 12 to 10.
Their slight lead was courtesy of tries to Nathan Walker and Brendon Draper, with two conversions to Mitchell Nalder.
However, for the Bears’ faithful, that’s where the enjoyment ended, with the Coonamble side trailing 28 to 12 at the half time break.
