Police say that a set of bones discovered at a Coonamble property in mid-November are not human.
A crime scene was established at a home on McCullough on 13 November after bones were discovered at around 12:30pm that day by a resident doing some digging in their backyard.
A spokesperson said police then attended and located a number of other bones, but could not confirm at the time whether they were human.
The Police Media Unit confirmed their non-human origins on 24 November, but did not provide further details.
