A Coonamble clay target shooter has outdone the competition to win the overall high gun at the Grafton Clay Target Club's Open Classic on 12-13 July.
AA shooter Brenton Kelly hit a tied score of 228 out of 240 with brother-in-law Glenn Harvey, a former Coonamble local.
A draw would typically lead to a run-off shoot, but the two agreed to call it a day and split the cash winnings instead.
