As the school holidays push the need for vacation care front of mind for working parents, the leaders of Coonamble's former service says staffing and affordability remain key barriers to reopening, around two and a half years after it closed.
Former Smart Kids owner Kylie Carey began the service that catered for up to 25 primary school aged children each day of the holidays at Coonamble Public School (CPS) in 2017.
