Visitors were in for an eye opener at Castlereagh Industries when the disability employer held their open day on Tuesday 18 November.
Twenty-four people joined the morning tours through the laundry and Vinnies facilities, most of them for the first time.
Organiser Chantel Beavis said the employees surprised the visitors.
“They thought that we just, with the ironing for example, sat in here and hand ironed everything.
They didn’t realize we had the big rollers and the washing machines,” Chantel said.
