DESPITE the keenness of Castlereagh clubs to get an on-field conclusion to the 2021 season the final curtain on the 2021 season has been drawn with a direction from NSW Rugby League.
The directive came on Tuesday afternoon 14 September that all NSW Community Competitions were to be called off.
Whilst disappointed that football for the year was over Castlereagh officials were realistic in accepting that the decision was “inevitable” given the current circumstances.
Following a meeting of club officials on Wednesday night 15 September arrangements were made to finalise the year . . .
