Around 2800 cattle packed the pens on Wednesday 19 November for one of Coonamble's biggest prime cattle sales in a decade.
The saleyards on Railway Street drew a couple of additional buyers from outside the shire and, like other selling centres across the state, saw prices stay strong.
"It was well supported by local producers whose faith in the Coonamble yards was rewarded," said David Thompson of Halcroft & Bennett.
"The market was on par with the major centres and all cattle were weighed and delivered by about 7pm that evening."
