New Year’s Eve was mainly a quiet affair in Cobar this year as people recovered from what was a hectic back end to 2022.
The first day of 2023 started off early at around 8am with the Cobar Parkrun and, despite a dip in popularity in recent years, with a beautiful morning at the Newey Reservoir on 31 December 2022 organisers saw an increase in numbers at their event.
“We had 17 participants which included 2 visitors. We’re hoping to bring Park Run to the forefront of people’s mind again.
