The Literacy for Life Foundation will not close its doors without a fight, as community members devise plans to keep the program alive.
Last Thursday 27 December the Coonamble Aboriginal Community Working Party (CWP) met at the local Land Council to decide what the next steps are for the Literacy for Life program.
The group agreed to write a letter to the Minister for Education and have also started an online petition for residents to sign in support of continuing the LFL service.
