This year, Australia's Remembrance Day fell on Tuesday, and harvest trucks thundered past on the highway as local residents gathered to pay their respects.
Around 30 people came together at Coonamble Cenotaph at 11am on 11 November to observe a minute silence for Australians killed in armed conflict.
Veterans, friends and family marked a brief Remembrance Day, along with a handful of students representing Coonamble's public schools.
