LAST week marked another milestone in Coonamble’s history as it has been 46 years since Coonamble PMG (Post Master General) Manual Exchange went Automatic.
It was an unexpected plan to celebrate this year’s anniversary as we the “Pioneer Women of Telecommunications” are dropping off our swivel chairs quicker than we anticipated.
I just hope the remaining girls that live in Coonamble and elsewhere will be around . . .
