It's one of the biggest employers in Coonamble Shire, but that doesn't mean Council is immune to worker shortages.
The organisation is making progress to fill 30 current vacancies, with ten people at the 'interview and offer' stage.
Staff confirmed on 10 December that they are advertising more of the positions this month.
"We are hoping that as a result of that, that number will drop quite a long way," said Jenni Maundrell, Council's Executive Manager of Corporate Governance.
