The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) will be able to continue youth camps during the school holidays after Coonamble Shire set aside up to $25,000 towards the cost.
Azita Sobhani from service provider First Light said the camps would run as they have since the program began in February 2024.
So far, camps have been held at Lake Keepit, Camp Cypress at Baradine and Nyngan, with the next camp to be held in the Warrumbungles.
