A shire councillor has expressed concern after it was revealed that upcoming youth accommodation in Gulargambone and Coonamble will not serve under 18 year olds.
The original project scope had been for ‘crisis’ accommodation, although senior staff at Coonamble Shire Council’s ordinary May meeting said it will house 18-24-years-olds for ‘transitional’ periods up to six months.
