The Mitchell Highway has been closed following a heaving vehicle accident near the Queensland border in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 8 February).
A woman has been treated for fractures after the B-double tanker she was driving crashed about 1.40am today at Barringun near Lanihuli Road just south of the Queensland border, closing the Mitchell Highway.
The woman was treated at the scene before being transported by road ambulance to Bourke airport where she will be met by a team from Royal Flying Doctor Service…
