Work has finished on the overtaking lanes and safety upgrades on the Mitchell Highway between Dubbo and Narromine, as part of a $32 million investment by the former Nationals government.
Narromine Shire Council Mayor, Craig Davies said the trip to Dubbos was now a lot easier than it was previously.
“It’s a fantastic outcome,” Mr Davies said. “There has been three overtaking lanes added, making it five in total and the road has been widened in many places as well.”…
