Members of the public can now contribute towards the review of the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund (FDF).
The funds operation is currently under review to examine how effective it was at “building drought resilience” in affected communities.
Another purpose of the review was to find ways in which the fund could be improved so that in the next drought farmers and communities can be better supported.
The review by the Productivity Commission began on 10 January with the findings being released on 26 September . . .
