Coming into the winter sports season, the Coonamble sportsground is set to look a bit different than in years past with extra playing fields on offer.
In years past the sportsground has been operating with three fields, however, following a surveyors report it is being increased to eight.
The turf is now laid and will be ready in time for the new season.
Coonamble Shire Council Manager of Parks and Urban Services Mick Bell says under the new arrangement there should be enough fields to accommodate multiple games, even when two codes coincide . . .
