COONAMBLE Fire and Rescue are looking for any locals who are interested in a flexible part-time role that helps their community.
Recruitment Officer for Region West 1, Wade Haines, says that there is currently a staff shortage at the Coonamble Fire station.
"At the moment we've got five vacancies in Coonamble which is putting quite a strain on the current crews," said Wade.
"It's also putting added strain on the Gilgandra, Dubbo, and Trangie . . .
