THE European Red Fox (Vulpes Vulpes), found right across central NSW, costs Australians $227.5 million worth of damages each year.
At least $35 million of this damage bill is being paid by Australian farmers.
A recent study, conducted by a group of Australian researchers, has concluded that Australian predators including the European Red Fox, pose a huge threat to native animals and also pose a significant threat to livestock including goat kids, poultry and sheep.
The study stated that both foxes and cats together kill round 2,624 million animals per year . . .
