Coonamble Shire's new council met for the first time yesterday with some important decisions to make for their coming term.
An extraordinary meeting set for Thursday 3 October was re-scheduled to 3pm Wednesday 9 October, so the outcomes were not available when the Coonamble Times went to print on Wednesday morning.
First on the agenda was the official oath-taking by the nine new and returning councillors, followed by the election of both the Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
