Coonamblites will need an extra set of clothes on Father’s Day (7 September) when the town comes together for the annual Community Colour Run.
Runners and walkers will wind around five kilometres of track at the Coonamble Golf Club on what’s expected to be a cool day, making a mess with coloured powder along the way.
The local tradition last year drew around 200 participants and raises funds for local cancer patients to help assist with the cost of travelling for treatment and other related expenses.
