OVER the weekend, the Coonamble Bowling Club held a free Melbourne-Cup themed social bowls event in an attempt to attract new interest in getting involved in the sport.
The event involved around 65 bowlers of all ages and was organised by club members Justine Powell and Joanne Lee.
