COONAMBLE cricket is back!
After a harvest hiatus, the Gidgee Cricket Club squeezed in one final game before the Christmas break - a strong away win against the Biddon-Tooraweenah Cricket Club (BTCC) on Saturday, 17 December.
Gidgee demolished Tooraweenah with both bat and ball; the only blemish being the singular lost wicket during their batting innings.
BTCC batted to start to match but struggled from the get-go and never really found their rhythm.
Elvy McEwen took advantage of the uncomfortable-looking Toora side, walking away with a five-wicket haul . . .
